Since I have received a few emails and comments asking about the house I thought it would be easier to show you ;) We have our work cut out for us but I know in the end it will be worth it. Now remember, you're looking at the potential. *lol*
I skipped over the guest room and hallway, although it's fabulous because it's filled with tons of cabinets (just forgot to take a pic apparently). So here is the Master, it has vaulted ceilings but the fan is mounted WAY too low, that will be one of the first things to go. ;) Oh and there is a master bath but I forgot to photo that too, nice huh? LOL
When you walk in the door there is a living room to the right (where my mom is looking-ish), and if you were to walk straight ahead there is a family room (where the fireplace is).
So if you go right into the living room it wraps around to a dining area and then heads into the kitchen
The kitchen which opens up to the family room (the one with the fireplace you saw in the previous pic)
The guest bathroom...
From left to right - the hall closet, laundry room, stamp roomI skipped over the guest room and hallway, although it's fabulous because it's filled with tons of cabinets (just forgot to take a pic apparently). So here is the Master, it has vaulted ceilings but the fan is mounted WAY too low, that will be one of the first things to go. ;) Oh and there is a master bath but I forgot to photo that too, nice huh? LOL
And lastly the rose garden in the backyard. I have a brown thumb so hopefully since they are already established, I can keep them alive so people will think my thumb is a slight shade of green ;)
So that's it! Again, lots to do but we're looking forward to it. Everyday we're running errands and taking measurements and meeting with plumbers, contractors, painters, engineers (don't ask). So my stamping is slacking but I think it'll be worth it! ;)

I can see why you're excited Jillian! Hopefully I'll get to come see it in person once I'm back in the Bay Area again. :-) Good luck with all the work!
So cool Jillian!! I love the fireplace and the great light it seems to all have!! Can't wait to see it when you finish it all! :) Got a challenge for us?? :)
Love the before shots. Great potential. I hope you will post the progression pics as well.

GORGEOUS Jill! I can't wait to see the after shots! Beautiful home!
Tons of potential! And I love love love the window in the guest bath shower. Not so much the hexagonal sink. :O)
We renovated out 1978 brown shagged, popcorn ceilinged house in Arizona. It's not gorgeous, and that's what other people say, not me. It's hard work, but so rewarding.
Enjoy!
Looks like a great house and I'm really glad you posted so we can see what it looks like! A house with a fireplace .. how lucky can you get . . let us know how it's coming. You're still going to find time to stamp right? :))
Congratulations on the new house!!! I'll be excited to see what you do with it - I'm planning some flooring and color renovations for mine at the moment and it is amazing how much work (and money) it takes!!! But have fun! :)
AWESOME place!!!
Your home is going to be beautiful. Congratulations!

Super cute house! And so fun to make it "your own", huh? I totally understand the cost of housing and re-do stuff around here -- I'm just north of you in Chico. :)
Good luck with your renovations! Can't wait to see more pics as you change things~
