Revamped again...

And I think I might actually revamp it again shortly, but for now this will do. I invested a good chunk of $$ in the StoreINStyle cubes (LOVE THEM), using my coupons each week at JoAnn's of course. ;)
Everything has a home, there is also a wire drawer organizer hidden under my stamp table which holds all my punches, acrylic stamps, cutters, heat guns, light tables, etc. The tall white cabinet holds WAY too many partylite votive candles (anyone need any??) and all my cuttlebug & sizzix supplies, my paper scraps and other craft projects. Notice the much needed jelly bean & M&M dispenser on the top shelf....it's placed strategically out of my eye shot, but oddly enough I find my arm reaching up there quite frequently during Craft time. :)

It was a hit!

I had my open house/play night on Friday night and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! We all had such a good time chatting about different ideas and techniques....which then turned into a round-the-table story telling session about various funny events in our lives. I love how stamping brings everyone together, it's real girl time and we ALL need it!!! The card above was the make & take and thankfully I took all the advice from my fellow scser's and went for it...it was a big hit! And below is the card for my Stampers 10 club meeting on Saturday. Everyone loved them both...the new catalog is a hit!!!!

I finally broke out my stamps from the new catty...LOVE the new colors. My friends wedding is coming up in November and she's using these style branches for her centerpieces. I had to try out this whole Slider Card since I have yet to put one together (can you see the little touches of glittah?). I like the simplicity of it all...if you haven't guessed by now I'm a "less is more" kinda gal. Hope you likey. ;)

Tasty Treats...

If I tell you that they were horrible and nasty, would you believe me? ;)

Ok, so they were WONDERFUL! I whipped the batter just a little longer this time and WOW what a difference. They were so moist and delicious!!! My nephew is allergic to dairy so I had to drop the real butter in the frosting and use butter flavoring, I was worried that the frosting would taste bad but oddly enough it was lighter and very yummy. I made 4 dozen of these babies for our block party, I think everyone gobbled them up before dinner was even served. :)

You Grow Girl...

Veggiebella is the July Bella for my local Bella group...don't ya love her?!?! I actually trimmed off the strawberry vine and flower stems, that way I could use either of them depending on if I wanted a veggie garden theme or a flower garden theme. Obviously this one I opted for the yellow flowers. :) The recipe is Marigold Morning cardstock (gotta use it up, right?), printed paper from the Summer DCWV stack, Chocolate Chip and Wild Wasabi (the little rivet behind the brad). I used my fabulous Bug to make the embossed background and Prismacolor Pencils w/Gamsol for the coloring. A chocolate doodle, some ribbon and tah-dah! Kinda makes me want some khaki overalls. ;)
