Stained Glass Butterfly

I used Almost Amethyst and Lovely Lilac for this card. To make the butterfly, stamp large butterfly onto a window sheet with Black Staz on. Set aside to dry and make the pieces for the rest of the card. Once the window is dry, flip it over and cover the butterfly image with crystal effects. Next drop just a few drops of ink into the puddle of crystal effects, you can swirl around with a toothpick if you like but not too much (they'll bleed together on the last step). Next cover the image with glitter and lastly place a small piece of tissue paper over the image, it will absorb the ink & crystal effects and ultimately make a seal. I let mine dry overnight, then I cut out the butterfly very carefully (window sheets break easily) and placed it on the center of my card! Tah Dah! Love it!

Gorgeous butterfly. Nancy (from Nancy's Creative Mess) has tried to teach me this technique but I haven't grasped it yet! TFS
